Asian Artistry – Sketch Challenge #25

G’day Everyone!

I really wanted to make time to do the sketch challenge hosted by Keesh this week. I would love to participate in the challenges every week, but unfortunately everyday life quite often takes over and prevents the inner crafter from just having the time!

Here is my take on the sketch.

I decided to cut out the circles with my Circle Scissor Plus and used Card Stock Vellum for the centre piece. On the Vellum I stamped the image and coloured the image on the backside going over certain areas of the image several times to deepen the shades. A little rick rack made from my favourite DSP Raspberry Tart overlayed on grosgrain ribbon, flowers from this weeks Deal of the Week promotion Boho Blossoms punch (normally $30.95 now $20.12) along with dots of Crystal Effects covered in some Dazzling Diamonds for sparkle and the card was complete. Have to say I don’t really do square cards but was really happy with the finished project. What do you think?

Stamp Set – Asian Artistry

Card – Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Cameo Coral & Vellum Card Stock

Thanks for stopping by!
