Faux Wood

G’day everyone

Last night I had a bit of a play with the Faux Wood technique and thought I would show you the end result. This was another new technique for me and I have to say I was surprised and very happy with the completed card.

I kept to a masculine theme as I wanted this card to have a very rustic feel and I think I achieved the result I was looking for. I clear embossed the chicken, used a little tearing (something I should do more often), roughed up some of the card edge with my fingernail and dipped my finger in Stampin’ Pastels as I didn’t want the Very Vanilla CS to be so clean & stark.  I hope you like it?
